My husband, George, and I have two children, Azure and George III.
I began my career in education at the age of 33. I obtained a BA in Education from Oklahoma University, an M. Ed in Social Studies from the University of Alaska, and an EdD in Educational Leadership from Walden University, all while raising a family and working full time. I taught Social Studies for 27 years at public high schools and community college. George and I taught for ten years in Southeast Alaska on a native reservation/ reserve and the remaining 17 years in New Hampshire.
I moved 22 times from the time of my birth until my high school graduation, I adapt easily to new ideas and people, and interact with others in a positive manner.
I am a deacon at the First Congregational Church of Wakefield, United Church of Christ and a former member of the Wakefield Conservation Commission.
